The BusCORE Satellite RF Terminal is a World's First Space-Friendly™ Dual Cold Redundant Radiocommunication Infrastructure, with 2MB MRAM Data buffer storage each, 2x UART accessible over 2 combined ports. Excellent data throughput is achieved using dedicated hardware radio implementation with various RF features optimized for long range and high data rate communication links, exceeding 40+ years old legacy amateur radio link systems by 6-10 dB better link margins and micro delay RX/TX switching times. Data frames are protected using CRC checks, further providing telemetry messaging, uptime, packet counters as well as the RSSI and Noise Floor at antenna port input measurements. Time of Flight Ranging with 65000 addresses allow the multinode operations aboard swarm of satellites, accessible individually.

Change the Bitrate during Pass.

 

The unit provides data rates in variable settings during the flight over the groundstation from long range 1200 bps up to 38 400 bps maximum, depending on the link quality. Automatic Bitrate Fallback function sets the modem to nominal 4800 bps in case the mutual bitrate negotiation attempt fails. Standard bitrate settings is optimized for LEO operations with 4800 bps.
